Bike Nation operates bike share system, which utilizes a proprietary USA made bicycle and modular, kiosk. Bike Nation’s bike-share system is state of the art. Our bikes feature a chainless drive shaft and airless tires. Our bikes are outfitted with active GPS, which will provide valuable data like total miles ridden, caloric burn and carbon reduction to our customers and city officials. Our American made kiosks are solar powered and internet connected, and their modular design maximizes flexibility. Bike Nation’s bicycles and kiosks are assembled in Southern California and station components and bikes are “Buy American Act” compliant.
We launched this summer in Anaheim and plan to launch in Los Angeles at the beginning of 2013.
